The Secret of the World's Longevity Village

In the northern reaches of Okinawa, Japan, you'll find the charming village of Ogimi. It has been selected as one of the five longevity areas in the world, a "blue zone" for health and longevity, and is known as the "longevity village", Ogimi Village embodies a peaceful and balanced lifestyle. The scenery here appears timeless, filled with the delight of living in sync with nature. A key to the villagers' well-being is a little golden fruit known as Shikuwasa. The people of Ogimi have made Shikuwasa a staple in their diet, tapping into its potential to sustain their health.

The Deep Connection Between Shikuwasa and Wellness

This is a small fruit, approximately 3 to 4 centimeters in diameter and weighing about 25 to 30 grams. Its harvest season runs from September to December. Unlike other fruits, it is mostly harvested before fully ripening, when the peel is still green. The fruit can be chopped and used like lemon on sashimi or fried foods, but because of its rich nutritional content, it is often juiced and consumed as a health drink. It has a strong sour taste and deep bitterness, but its most notable characteristic is its high content of a nutrient called Nobiletin.

A Supplement Infused with Nature's Vitality

Nobiletin is a flavonoid compound. Flavonoids are a type of polyphenol found only in a few citrus fruits, with the highest concentration present in shikuwasa. In recent years, it has garnered attention due to its health benefits. It may reduce inflammation and support brain health, with potential benefits for metabolic function. Employing an innovative technique, we extract high-purity Nobiletin from the fruit's peel.
